2010 Rollins College visit to CGJ
Group trips for website

Center for Global Justice member, Margaret McLaren, Chair of Womens Studies program from the department of Philosophy at Rollins College in Florida, recently organized a trip with thirteen students from a diversity of degrees to visit the Center during for 10 days in March. The Center organized trips to most of our communities, talks about globalization, and some social activities for the group.  The focus of this particular trip was women and globalization, and the students received information about this and a variety of topics. The trip was at the same time educational and relaxing, an experience the students won't soon forget.

Three students sent us essays discussing their experience during their visit:

- Francesca Mastrangelo
Microloans: In Practice and In Reality
- Roxanne Szal
