In 2015, a year before Trump was elected in the U.S., Argentina elected president Macri. These two are remarkably similar in how they campaigned and the policies they promote. Argentines have mounted creative resistance - worker coops, street protests, theater and music - that offer lessons for us in the North. “Don’t Give Up Your Voice” produced and directed by Mark Dworkin and Mellisa Young gives insight into the importance of resistance when societies disagree about policies that influence their lives and their country.
