Cooperative Economics offers an alternative to capitalist markets and a path forward for those who value cooperation rather than competition. The promise and the problems of cooperatives will be discussed by Renata Ballesteros. A young Mexican American, she has worked in rural cooperative development in the US and is certified as a cooperative business developer. She sees in cooperative economics an elegant and creative path to a post-capitalist world, now increasingly prized by youth.
