Cooperative Economics

NOTE: Due to something broken on youtube that now is fixed, we were unable to broadcast this talk on Thursday the 26th. All is working now and we have rescheduled the talk for the 27th at 11.

Cooperative Economics offers an alternative to capitalist markets and a path forward for those who value cooperation rather than competition. The promise and the problems of cooperatives will be discussed by Renata Ballesteros. A young Mexican American, she has worked in rural cooperative development in the US and is certified as a cooperative business developer. She sees in cooperative economics an elegant and creative path to a post-capitalist world, now increasingly prized by youth.
