Co-founders of the Mexico Solidarity Project, Bruce Hobson and Meizhu Lui will speak on why North American progressives should understand why Mexico is critical to advancing a vision of socialism and multiracial democracy in the United States.
We will depart from San Miguel early in the morning to Patzcuaro, where we will spend three days. We will visit the most important buildings and churches in Patzcuaro and also visit a number of nearby indigenous villages:
Santa Clara del Cobre, known for the famous copper pots, you will see how the process is done
On the third day we will drive to Morelia, known as the pink city, because the pink limestone used to build all of the historical mansions and churches. There we will spend one night, and almost two full days. We will visit:
