FAI Guanajuato se enfoca en difundir, promover el respeto y hacer realidad los derechos de la infancia, como son la sobrevivencia, desarrollo, protección contra la violencia, dignidad, equidad, y vivir en un medio ambiente sano; focalizando los esfuerzos en el impulso de la participación activa de niñas y niños en la toma de decisiones que afectan su vida. FAI tiene programas en Educación Ambiental, Conservación y uso sustentable del agua, Seguridad alimentaria y nutrición, Apoyo a la micro-economía, Sistemas Para Cosechar Agua de Lluvia y Construcción de Sanitarios Secos.
