La Nueva Ley del Agua

La Ley General de Aguas mandatada por la reforma al Artículo 4 Constitucional de febrero de 2012 constituye una oportunidad para una nueva etapa de la gestión del agua en el país. Su fin es garantizar el derecho humano al agua que implica el acceso equitativo y sustentable a través de la participación en un marco de respeto por los derechos humanos y de los pueblos indígenas, así reemplazando la lógica del mercado y de autoridad unilateral establecida por la Ley de Aguas Nacionales vigente desde 1992.
