Join us in an exciting visit to Cuba--a country committed to building socialism. We will learn about Cuba’s stunning accomplishments such as free health care and education, its collective production in agricultural and urban cooperatives, We will dialogue with leading thinkers about their visions for the future as well as some of the obstacles and challenges they face.
No visit to Cuba would be complete without taking in its vibrant music and community art. This trip coincides with the fabulous Havana Jazz Festival and tour members will have the option of attending some of the Festival's evening concerts. The Martin Luther King Memorial Center will host us and will offer a program of unique experiences--visiting agroecological, environmental sustainability, and renewable energy projects, as well as museums, cultural centers, musical venues, tours of Old Havana and travel to provinces outside of Havana.
