Nuclear Weapons - From Opposition to Abolition

A discussion of the Ground Zero Center for Nonviolent Action from it's 45 year opposition to nuclear weapons to its vision for global nuclear weapons disarmament.

Tom Rogers has been a member of Ground Zero Center for Nonviolent Action since 2004. A retired US Navy Captain, he served in various capacities in the US Submarine Force from 1967 to 1998, including command of a nuclear fast attack submarine from 1988 to 1991. Since coming to Ground Zero he has provided a combination of operational experience with nuclear weapons and the willingness to use that expertise as a nuclear weapons abolitionist.
